Daniel Thalmas is a director, photographer, and creative producer, based between Paris and Abidjan. He started out in photography and graphic design, then worked in advertising and production before launching his own creative journey. Along the way, he's built his skills through many projects across Europe and Africa.
Curious and passionate, he approaches every project with the drive to get the best out of it. From advertising campaigns to digital content, through film and documentary, his approach remains the same: balancing creative sharpness with human sensitivity to bring a singular voice to every project, and deliver a high-quality, impactful response to every brief.

Fake. Video series
2023The concept of the video series titled "FAKE." focuses on the harmful aspects of social media and how they influence not only human relationships and personalities but also our self-perception and the way we see things. The visual universe is enhanced by incorporating the distinctive codes of various social media platforms. The series was showcased live in two exhibitions — drawing over 250 people in Paris and over 300 in Abidjan.
Kids See Ghosts
2025A short film about trauma and generational cycles, especially in Black communities and other marginalized groups. Its core concept is its storytelling, guided by a voice that immerses us in the narrative, along with the authenticity of the stories and key sequences where children's traumas materialize into shadows that take the shape of monsters behind them.
